Small details. Big opportunities.
Your hands, legs and feet could be just what a production is looking for!
From beauty and jewellery to fashion, footwear and advertising, many projects need people with different shapes, sizes and natural features.
You don`t need professional modelling experience or expensive equipment. A phone, good lighting and a little preparation are enough.
Follow these simple steps to show us your hands, legs and feet clearly.
Estimated reading time: 3 minutes
1. Get ready
Choose a clean, quiet space with a simple, neutral background.
Use natural daylight or soft, even lighting. Avoid strong shadows, filters and beauty effects.
Make sure your camera lens is clean and your phone is steady.
Keep everything natural. Your photos and videos should show how your hands, legs and feet really look.
2. Prepare your hands
Before taking photos or recording your video:
- Make sure your hands and nails are clean.
- Keep your nails natural, without coloured nail polish or artificial nails, if possible.
- Remove rings, bracelets and watches.
- Avoid heavy creams or oils that make your skin look shiny.
- Do not hide scars, marks, tattoos or other visible features.
We want to see your natural skin, nails, fingers and overall hand shape.
3. Take your hand photos
Please take clear, sharp photos of both hands against a plain background.
Include the following shots:
Photo 1 — Back of your hands
Place both hands side by side, with your fingers naturally extended and the backs of your hands facing the camera.
Photo 2 — Palms
Turn both hands over and show your palms, with your fingers relaxed and slightly apart.
Photo 3 — Side views
Photograph your hands from both sides so we can see the shape and profile of your fingers.
Photo 4 — Close-up of your nails
Take a clear photo showing your fingernails and fingertips.
Photo 5 — Natural holding position (optional)
Hold a simple object, such as a glass, a cup or a pen, to show how your hands look in a natural position.
Make sure your hands are fully visible and in focus. Avoid cutting off your fingers.
4. Record your hand video
Create a short video, ideally 20–30 seconds, showing both hands and their natural movement.
Place your phone on a stable surface and record horizontally (Landscape).
Follow these steps:
- Show the backs: Hold both hands in front of the camera with your fingers naturally extended.
- Show your palms: Slowly turn your hands over.
- Show the sides: Rotate your hands gently to show their profiles.
- Move your fingers: Slowly open and close your hands, then move your fingers naturally.
- Hold an object: Pick up and hold a small everyday object to demonstrate a natural hand movement.
Keep your movements slow and relaxed. Make sure your hands remain clearly visible throughout the video.
There is no need to speak or introduce yourself.
5. Prepare your legs & feet
Before taking photos or recording your video:
- Make sure your legs, feet and toenails are clean.
- Keep your toenails natural, without coloured nail polish, if possible.
- Remove socks, shoes and ankle jewellery.
- Wear simple, well-fitting shorts that allow us to see your legs clearly from the hips down.
- Avoid tights, stockings, heavy creams and oils.
- Do not hide visible marks, scars, tattoos or other natural features.
Choose a clean, neutral floor or background with enough space to move comfortably.
We want to see the natural shape and proportions of your legs, as well as your feet.
6. Take your legs & feet photos
Please take clear photos of both legs and feet, using soft, even lighting.
Start with photos showing your legs from the hips down to your feet. Make sure your knees, ankles and feet are fully visible.
Then take separate close-up photos of your feet and toes.
Include the following shots:
Photo 1 — Front view (from the hips down)
Stand naturally, facing the camera, with both legs and bare feet fully visible.
Photo 2 — Back view (from the hips down)
Turn around and photograph your legs and feet from behind, including your heels.
Photo 3 — Side views (from the hips down)
Take photos from both sides to show the natural shape and profile of your legs, ankles and feet.
Photo 4 — Feet close-up (top view)
Photograph both feet from above, clearly showing your toes, toenails and the top of your feet.
Photo 5 — Feet close-up (front view)
Take a closer photo from the front, showing the shape of your toes and both feet.
Photo 6 — Feet close-up (side view)
Show the side profile of each foot, including the arch and heel.
Photo 7 — Soles
Photograph the soles of both feet clearly, making sure the entire surface is visible.
Keep your photos natural, sharp and well-lit. Avoid cutting off any part of your legs or feet in the full-length shots.
7. Record your legs & feet video
Create a separate video, ideally 30–45 seconds, showing your legs and feet and their natural movement.
Record horizontally (Landscape), with your phone steady.
Position your camera far enough away to show your legs from the hips down, including your feet.
Follow these steps:
- Stand naturally: Face the camera with both bare feet flat on the floor. Keep your legs visible from the hips down.
- Turn around: Slowly turn all the way around once (360°), showing the front, both sides and the back of your legs.
- Walk naturally: Take a few relaxed steps towards the camera, keeping your legs and feet visible.
- Return to your position: Step back to your starting point and stand naturally.
- Rise onto your toes: Gently lift your heels and lower them again to show the movement of your feet and ankles.
- Show your soles: Move closer to the camera if needed and briefly lift each foot to show its sole, while keeping your balance safely.
Keep your movements simple, slow and comfortable.
Important: Your legs must remain visible from the hips down during the full-length sequence. For the final close-up movements, you may adjust the camera to focus on your feet.
There is no need to speak or perform.
